I attended a few drawing classes with
Jeanette Gilks. The group, which can
number upwards of 20 per session is called Garrett Artists. These very talented artists who individually
practice a number of art mediums, concentrate their Monday gatherings on mixed-media drawing forms. They are also a generous company who has
often been cajoled into collaborating with me on various whacky projects. 11
Minutes was a novel by Paulo Coelho chosen for its title. Artists were requested to complete a page in
11 minutes. The results were
unbelievable.
